This is a benchmark expression of Albana. It displays the typical notes of the varietal which are stone fruit and almonds. It’s also fresh but textured at the same time, showing off the unique site that is Marzeno.
The wines ferments in stainless steel where it spends 3 days on skins. From there it will spend 6 months on the fine lees in concrete until it is bottled.
Owners Camilo and Giacomo’s grandfather initially purchased this property in 1967, and the vineyards have always been primarily dedicated to Sangiovese, as so many are here.
