Lemon-lime cream aromas meet with wet chalk on the nose of this block-designated bottling from a reinvigorated vineyard south of Hollister. Lychee and white melon flavors are cut by a lime peel acidity and a chalky minerality on the lightly earthy palate.

An incredibly complex vineyard consisting of a full range of altitudes and exposures, with flat valley floors climbing via terraces to high-altitude hills, facing every direction on the compass. Located in San Benito County, Eden Rift is the oldest continually-producing estate vineyard in California. Practicing organic farming on fine sandy loam over a limestone and dolomite subsoil.
